Purposeful + Positive

Did 2020 teach you to take a step back, breathe and pivot? Knowing when this moment arrives is an important lesson to learn with any business--pandemic or not. Remember your brand’s purpose and integrity and look into these points for positive results.

Pause and Find Purpose
Taking a pause allows you to catch your breath. It also lets you step back and have a better look at what you’re doing to learn what’s working and what isn’t working. It’s the best time to:

Remember what your brand stands for
Are you still doing what you set out to do with your brand? Did your brand have a mission and are you following it? While your brand’s purpose is a foundation to grow on, integrity keeps messaging to your employees and customers clean and clear.

Reanalyze the data
Look at your data in a new way. Actually, don’t look for anything in it, let it tell you. Be open minded, the information you gather from this exercise may enlighten your path.

Focus on the Right Customer
Look beyond numbers and get an understanding of who your customers are.  2020 made many customer bases shuffle. Who you had been targeting may have changed. Has your target customer been clarified or has your demographic expanded?

Take a hold of this opportunity and refresh your business’s goals. You may just find renewed motivation to grow and succeed.

Having done branding strategy with Tastefully Made really gave us a better understanding of how we see our company and how our customers see us. We were able to apply the recommendations and techniques to our new website and to our new labels to facilitate a better connection to our products and mission.
