So the number of customers you have seems to be the same year after year. On one hand that’s good, it’s not going down. On the other hand, why isn’t it going up? You might think that because you are keeping a steady number of customers that your business is doing well. But stagnancy may also mark the beginning of the end.

Most of the time when your number of customers doesn’t seem to increase yet doesn’t go down either, it means you have a loyal customer base. Your customers have been with you for a long time. They are happy with your service and your products. (Yay! This is just fantastic, isn’t it?) But there is an issue and it lies deep when your customer numbers are idle.
It’s time to understand why this group of customers love you so much. Just who are they? Are they a certain age range or gender? How and when do you fall into their routine? Learn all you can about why and how your current customers interact with your brand.
Appeal to new customers
Take this information and then make a move toward gaining a new set of customers. Maybe you need to refresh your visual identity--your logo and/or colors. Perhaps with all this digging you’ve come upon some better messaging. Having clear and succinct phrases like a tagline or slogan can elevate your brand and connect you with customers.
Gaining insight into your brand is when you will find your aha moment. Time to get some new attention. Your loyal customers will appreciate the attention you show them when you update your brand. And the new customers--they’ll love you too!
